We have an excellent video presentation for the evening of December 26th, a BBC production produced in 1996 titled “Shooting the Past“. This superb film was televised by PBS a few years ago for and those of you who saw it, I’m sure you would agree that it’s well worth watching again. Those who missed it then now have another chance. The subject is the preservation of historical items, a subject dear to the hearts of most Masons. In this case the items are thousands of photographs, slated for destruction in order to make room for a business school. This human drama stars Lindsay Duncan, Timothy Spall, Liam Cunningham and a host of others in a story that will capture your attention to the very end.

The video was aired over two sessions, as the length is three hours. We will show it in its entirety starting at 6:00 pm with one or two intermissions.  Refreshments will be available and there is plenty of room, so feel free to bring a friend. It is appropriate for all ages but is not the kind of action film that would hold the attention of young children for three hours.

If you want to see a film that is thought provoking and memorable, put this on you calendar.
